savio Firmino introduces blockchain technology to the Italian design world

We take stock of the year with Italian brand Savio Firmino. The company, which has been producing classic furniture for 80 years, has become one of the trendsetters this year.
With the Cityng line, the company is bringing unprecedented innovation to the world of Italian design. It is the first collection of 'not only the company, but the entire manufacturing sector' to be fully traceable and certified through NFT and blockchain technology.
Curiously enough, the designer Cosimo de Vita drew inspiration from iconic buildings. The result is a series of 17 chairs, where the back of each one reproduces the silhouette of a world monument of architecture. Florence is represented by its iconic churches (from the Basilica of Santa Maria Novella to Santa Maria del Fiore), Rome by the Palace of Italian Civilization, New York by the Brooklyn Bridge, Paris by Notre Dame, Moscow by St. Basil's Cathedral. The Yellow Crane Tower in Wuhan was not overlooked either.
The project uses photographs of the buildings themselves: the designer converted them into a 3D image using a digital pantograph, and then all the furniture was made by hand.
The Cityng collection demonstrates a perfect combination of handiwork, craftsmanship and advanced technology. It is available for ordering in the Minsk showroom New Studio at Nemiga, 12, 2nd floor.
