Kitchen of the week: Modulnova Blade in Piasentina stone
Jan 1, 2022

The Italian factory Modulnova presents Blade in a new version in Piasentina stone with a millerighe finish. Designed by Carlo Presotto and Andrea Bassanello, the model takes on an unprecedented texture that lends it an architectural character.
The unit consists of two functional units (the cooking area and the sink, respectively), each in Piasentina stone with a millerighe treatment. A porcelain stoneware worktop with a black metal finish connects the two units, creating one spectacular island. The same porcelain stoneware is used for the fronts of the holding bases.
On the wall, two cladding materials lend a natural elegance to the interior: Piasentina millerighe stone and brown cedar for the fronts of the fitted columns. Stone is also used for the extended work surface along the wall, which runs from the fireplace to the oven; the fireplace is equipped with a special charcoal grill.
The strict linear design gives great versatility in the choice of materials. A harmonious mix of proportions, shapes, precious materials and exclusive finishes result in the generous, elegant luxury that defines the Modulnova Blade style. Another distinctive feature is the smooth aluminium door, which is very light and sturdy, in line with the aesthetics of the Italian Modulnova brand.
